👋 Hi!

I am Satish Karki, and welcome to my collection. You’ll see more topics added here as I stumble across new ones that catch my interest or come in handy for my work and pet projects. My tiny brain just can’t hold onto everything I learn so I built this site to help me retain info. This is my second brain.

A little bit about me - coming from an electrical engineering background and doing a headfirst dive into the IT world, I find many things- weather it be a tool, software, or a programming language, they are built on an abstraction layer. It hides the complexity behind a curtain and starts building on top of it. And this gives me an itch, and naturally I have gravitated towards untangling everything down to first principles. So my interest leans towards embedded engineering. Apart from that, I love DevOps and I have a homelab setup where I like to cosplay as a sysadmin and break things that I cannot do at work.

The workflow is straightforward: When I dive deep into the abyss of a topic, I whip up a handy Markdown file summarizing the main concepts and takeaways. Then I commit it to my GitHub repo, which triggers a GitHub Action to build and deploy the site. I am using Hostinger for the custom domain.
